How does recycling happen?

Recycling glass

1. Glass is taken to a glass recycling plant and sorted by colour.
2. It is washed to remove any impurities.
3. The glass is then crushed and non-glass materials removed.
4. The glass is melted.
5. The liquid glass is moulded into new products such as bottles and jars or used for making glass bricks or tabletops.
