Where are the positions located?

The majority of positions are based at the UK Bracknell site, in Berkshire. However, there are also other locations around UK & Ireland including Loughborough, Aycliffe, Bangor and Atherstone.

When does the job start?

The starting date is flexible for both Graduate and placement positions however the majority of jobs will begin mid July.

What disability provisions does 3M advocate?

There are adequate provisions for the disabled. There are numerous disabled toilets on every floor and an elevator system running throughout the building.

When is the closing date for applications?

The general application closing date is the end of December.

Do 3M reimburse expenses for the application process?

All travel expenses for Assessment centers will be reimbursed. You will be expected to pay the initial fee, however, bring the receipt to the assessment centre and you will be reimbursed.

Can I start the application and come back to it at a later date?

Yes, you can start your application and then save it as a draft and come back to it later.

Can International students still apply?

As long as you have a permit to work in the UK, international students can apply.

Do the schemes have an age limit?

There is no age limit.

Can I defer my application?

Applications cannot be deferred.

Do you need to have a relevant degree to apply for a specific job?

Relevant degrees are required, in the most part, at 3M. A marketing job will require a business related degree and a manufacturing job will require a manufacturing or engineering related degree, for example.
