Tegaderm IV Dressings can help protect and secure IV catheters from insertion to securement and removal, helping to reduce the risk of complications.
Antimicrobial Dressings
Proven to reduce catheter related bloodstream infections (CRBSI), Tegaderm™ CHG IV Securement Dressing is an integrated IV dressing that combines continuous antimicrobial protection with site visibility, catheter securement and breathability. These dressings meet international recommendations (CDC, INS, epic3, RKI etc) for the use of chlorhexidine-impregnated dressings to reduce risk of catheter-associated bloodstream infection.1-4
NICE Medical technologies guidance states that Tegaderm CHG dressings should be considered for use in critically ill adults who need a central venous or arterial catheter in intensive care or high dependency units.5
Securement Dressings
A comfortable solution that provides patients with securement, site visibility and breathability all in one product. These dressings have up to a seven day wear time and meet the Infusion Nursing Society definition of securement device.1
Transparent Film Dressings
Provide a waterproof, sterile barrier to external contaminants with transparency for easy monitoring.
Tegaderm Wound Dressings is a complete range of products designed to manage different level of exudate and protect surrounding skin from maceration.
Silicone Foam Dressings
Helps maintain a moist wound environment and may be used as part of a comprehensive pressure injury prevention program.
The unique multi-layer design absorbs and evaporates moisture to help reduce the potential for skin maceration. Designed for application in challenging locations like the sacrum. Provides a water-resistant seal while dressing is intact.
Adhesive Foam Dressings
Unique multi-layer design provides high absorbency with high breathability to reduce the risk of maceration. Adapts to changing levels of exudate to maintain moisture balance for optimal wound healing.
Acrylic Dressings
Absorbent dressings with a waterproof, transparent barrier – allowing active monitoring without disturbing the wound or incision and early interventions.
Composite (Island) Dressings
All-in-one dressing designed for convenience and comfort. 3M™ Tegaderm™ +Pad Film Dressing with Non-Adherent Pad acts as a bacterial and viral barrier.* 3M™ Medipore™ +Pad Soft Cloth Adhesive Wound Dressing is a breathable and conformable dressing with a non-adherent pad.
*In vitro testing shows that the transparent film dressing provides a viral barrier from viruses 27 nm in diameter or larger while the dressing remains intact without leakage.
