3M™ Cold Shrink Cable Joint QS200 93-AK620-1/C is our kit containing 3M™ Cold Shrink QS200 silicone splice body with integrated stress control device, conductive electrode, silicone elastomeric insulation, outer semi-conductive layer, copper screen sleeve, constant force springs for metallic screen, and thick walled EPDM rubber Cold Shrink outer tubes to re-build the cable outer jacket.

Our cable joint kit is designed for power cables with copper wire screen according to HD 620 (IEC 60502). It’s suitable up to 12/20 (24) kV for cable cross section 50-240 mm² and includes a mechanical shear bolt connector.It features a prefabricated one-piece Cold Shrink splice body, which allows fast and easy installation on a wide range of cable types and sizes, at temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +50 °C. The copper screen sleeve and constant force springs offer a solderless earth connection, and the thick walled, EPDM rubber Cold Shrink outer re-jacketing tubes provide physical protection and moisture sealing of the completed inline joints.
