3M™ Fused Silica Advanced Shell System WDS2 (Wide Distribution Slurry) was specifically designed to solve positive metal scrap issues and reduce shell cracks, replacing a 120-shell slurry in investment casting backup slurries. It has excellent flow characteristics resulting in uniform shell build – especially around the corners and in difficult-to-invest part design.
