3M™ Sensored Termination efficiently achieves visibility into the medium voltage (MV) power grid via real-time, accurate measurements of Voltage and Current at underground nodes throughout the MV distribution system.
The 3M™ Sensored Termination provides ability to measure critical parameters - voltage, current, phase angle - from underground medium-voltage power grid. This solution incorporates highly accurate Voltage and Current sensors integrated into the cable termination accessory to enable precise measurements without modification of the installed equipment. Furthermore, the sensors are passive components, thereby not requiring external power source for sensing. 3M patented connection system and cold shrink technology assure the easy and fast installation for a wide range of cable cross sections.
