We designed the 3M™ Aqua-Pure™ In-Line Water Filter System AP717 as a single cartridge water filtration system that helps provide consistent high quality water for by reducing the effects of sediment and chlorine taste and odor at flow rates up to 0.5 gpm/1.89 lpm. With built-in scale inhibition, it also reduces the ability of calcium and magnesium to precipitate on the metal surfaces as hard scale.

3M™ Aqua-Pure™ In-Line Water Filter System AP717 helps reduce sediment, chlorine taste and odor and scale from your drinking water and ice cubes. Ideal for refrigerators that do not include a built-in water filtration system and/or ice maker, these systems can also be used for drinking fountains, coffee machines and drink dispensers. Our system uses specially formulated activated carbon media for effective filtration. It combines chlorine taste and odor reduction with sediment and scale reduction for higher turbidity water and provides protection from the harmful effects of chlorine corrosion and scale for up to 1500 gallons/ 5678 liters. The cartridge is sanitary in design and requires no contact with the filter media during change-out.
