Scotch® 2228 is a 1.65 mm thick, conformable self-fusing rubber electrical insulating and sealing tapewith an EPR backing coated with mastic adhesive.

This Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228 consists of Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) backing coated with a strong, temperature-stable mastic adhesive. Use this tape to insulate, pad, and seal bus bar and splice connections. The tape is self fusing and temperature rated at 90°C providing excellent weather and moisture resistance
