The Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ SL Surface Conditioning Disc is a durable product that combines blending and finishing capability with aggressive cut. Our unique web construction and formulation allows the disc to resist loading while giving you an aggressive cut and long product life – on both edges and flat surfaces.

Use Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ SL Surface Conditioning Disc to minimise conditioning steps in weld clean up, grindline refinement, metal blending, and light deburring. Our specially engineered light grinding and blending discs can last up to twice as long as other surface conditioning discs. These durable and versatile discs combine blending and finishing capability with aggressive cutting. They comprise of a unique combination of aluminium oxide abrasive and non-woven web construction that keeps the discs running cool, resisting loading while cutting aggressively. The cut rate and consistency remains for life, on both edges and flat surfaces. Using these discs, the operator needs to use less pressure, reducing fatigue and maximising disc life. Scotch-Brite Roloc SL Surface Conditioning Discs use aluminium oxide abrasive mineral for its fast cut rate and long life. This mineral is a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures during use to continually expose fresh cutting edges. In comparison, traditional abrasives, such as garnet, quickly wear down with use. Due to its high cut-rate, hardness and low heat retention, aluminium oxide is widely used in grinding, sanding and finishing applications. It’s suitable for use on a wide variety of substrates in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. Scotch-Brite surface conditioning products have been developed with abrasives incorporated into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibres. Combining abrasives with fibres ensures consistent results are delivered for the product lifespan. 3M™ Roloc TR quick change discs are smaller discs that quickly attach onto a Roloc disc pad* so that you can conveniently and quickly change discs as needed. Roloc TR and TSM systems provide a secure attachment even for heavy-duty applications, and the variety of our other Roloc discs allows swapping from one application to the next in just seconds. Each disc is also colour-coded to identify its grade, making it easy to grab the grade required for different applications. *Sold separately
