The banded design makes it easy to have the earplugs close by at all times, convenient if you move in and out of noisy environments frequently. The band is reusable, the pods are disposable and replaceable, made from soft slow recovery PU foam which provides a comfortable seal with reduced pressure from the lightweight 13 g headband. The pods can be replaced with 3M™ Replacement Ear Tips 1311. The pods do not require any roll down for improved hygiene, sealing the entrance of the ear canal for optimal comfort and higher wearer acceptance.
