Copolymer made from hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride. Incorporated bisphenol cure system.

3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FE 5640 can be compounded using standard water cooled internal mixers or two-roll mills with standard fillers and ingredients utilized in typical fluoroelastomer formulations.

  • Process targets: injection and transfer moulding, extrusion, and calendering
  • Suitable for usage in injection moulding (e.g. production of O-rings) and extrusion applications
  • Improved cure technology resulting in more consistent part size from successive moulding cycles
  • Clean running
  • Compounds prepared from Dyneon FE 5620 can be formulated to meet Mil-R-83248
  • Excellent mould release - can be used in automated injection molding equipment
  • Improved cure technology resulting in more consistent part size from successive molding cycles
  • Low viscosity version of 3M™ Dyneon™ Fluoroelastomer FE 5640
