This absolute-rated, graded-porosity 100% polypropylene pleated filter features our Advanced Pleat Technology (APT) that increases usable surface area and service life.

Betafine PEG series filter cartridges effectively reduce the contaminating particles while maintaining or increasing process yields. These filter cartridges represent a major advance in pleated filter technology and performance that is built upon our history of filter design innovation. This absolute-rated, graded-porosity 100% polypropylene pleated cartridge features our highly effective Advanced Pleat Technology (APT) design that increases the usable filtration surface area while maintaining standard cartridge sizes. The result is a filter cartridge that has consistent performance and long service life. ABCs of the APT Design We developed our innovative Advanced Pleat Technology (APT) design to increase the service life of every Betafine™ PEG series filter cartridge. This design technology maximizes the useful surface area while maintaining open flow paths between media pleats. The design also supports a graded-porosity media structure, which results in lower pressure drops, longer service life and lower overall filtration costs. These filters are manufactured using our staggered pleat configuration that, when combined with a novel support material, provides more open space between the pleats. The increased open area of the staggered pleats allow for greater contaminant loading between each pleat at the inside diameter, while reduced-length pleats take advantage of existing open space closer to the outside diameter. The result is a fully usable surface area that provides superior service life.
