3M™ Speedglas™ Outer Protection Plate SL, 727000 is our extra scratch-resistant protection plate for 3M™ Speedglas™ Welding Helmet SL.
Replace your original protection plate if it becomes pitted or scratched with 3M™ Speedglas™ Outside Protection Plate SL, Scratch Resistant, 727000. This outer protection plate is extra scratch resistant and helps protect you from sparks and spatter. Our outer protection plate replaces worn or damaged parts and ensures you maintain the correct level and protection. When your original plate becomes deeply pitted, scratched or too dirty to clean with a soft cloth, it's probably time to replace it. Make it a habit to check your equipment regularly for maximum comfort and vision. The extra scratch-resistant model may extend service life compared to the standard model. Failure to use an outside protection plate with the filter voids the warranty if spark or spatter contaminates the glass.
