3M™ Zeta Plus™ ZB Series Filter Sheet is an advanced depth filter for the economical clarification of bioprocess, biological and pharmaceutical fluids.

Clarify pharmaceutical, biological, bioprocess and cosmetic fluids with 3M™ Zeta Plus™ ZB Series Filter Sheet.

It features a strong positive charge that provides an increased reduction of negatively charged contaminants, compared to using a mechanical filtration mechanism in isolation.

Our sheets are also optimised to provide protection of downstream sterilising grade membrane filters.

They’re composed of advanced cellulose-based depth filtration media, designed to retain contaminants by both mechanical entrapment and electrokinetic adsorption. Zeta Plus filter media is made up of high surface area filter aids, embedded in a cellulose fibre matrix.

During the manufacturing process, the ZB resin system incorporated into the filter media imparts a strong positive charge to the filter matrix. This permanently forms an interconnected filtration structure with positively charged electrokinetic capture sites.

They’re manufactured to controls described in our Drug Master File on record with the FDA. Certificates of Quality are available with a regulatory support file.
