Festool Automotive Systems FastFix Sanding Pad ST-STF features a multi-jet design for increased airflow and more efficient dust extraction, and uses a hook and loop attachment to allow quick and easy changes of abrasive discs. It’s available in soft, medium or hard versions.
Sand flat surfaces, contours and profiles when using Festool Automotive Systems FastFix Sanding Pad ST-STF. It’s available in soft, medium or hard versions and is used with the Festool Automotive Systems R0150 FEQ Rotex Sander. The soft pad is suitable for heavy rounding and cambers, medium and fine sanding applications, while the medium pad works on plain and arced surfaces, and is suitable for heavy duty applications. The sanding pad features a multi-jet design for increased airflow and more efficient dust extraction – it can capture up to 99% of dust and last up to 30% longer. A heat-resistant MPE foam is used on the pad for consistent finishing results and uniform wearing. The pad has a 9-hole design that aids in the consistent extraction of dust particles, allowing the disc to run cooler, which helps with abrasive loading. It also uses a hook and loop attachment to allow quick and easy changes of abrasive discs. This attachment system allows automotive technicians to reuse partially used abrasives rather than simply disposing of them.
