3M™ DBI-SALA® Confined Space HC (High Capacity) Core Insert Base with Top Plate is constructed of 304 stainless steel and is designed to be installed flush into the working surface. The plate mounting holes are used for fixing it to the mounting surface. When used as part of our complete system, this base meets the requirements of EN795:2012, EN1496:2006, CEN/TS 16415: 2013, and AS/NZS 5532.

For a core insert base (stainless steel) and top plate for use with 3M™ DBI SALA® HC Davit Mast in the formation of a confined space rescue and work support system, use 3M™ DBI SALA® Confined Space HC (High Capacity) Core Insert Base with Top Plate. Our core insert base with top plate is constructed of SAE 304 stainless steel which provides corrosion protection against the elements and is silver in appearance. It's designed to be installed flush onto the working surface, reducing surface obstructions that can occur with surface mounted davit bases. The top plate is equipped with mounting holes used to accommodate four M20 fasteners used to fix the base to the mounting surface. This feature is ideal in situations in which substrate thickness is inadequate to accommodate the entire sleeve portion of the base. The friction reducing insert sleeve is constructed of thermoplastic which aids in davit rotation.   When used as part of our complete system, this base meets the requirements of EN795:2012, EN1496:2006, CEN/TS 16415: 2013, and AS/NZS 5532. All 3M™ DBI SALA® HC Bases are designed to be used in combination with 3M™ DBI SALA® HC Davit Masts, and together form a perfectly matched confined space rescue and work support system.
