3M™ High Intensity Prismatic (HIP) Reflective Sheeting is a non-metalised microprismatic reflective sheeting designed for use with permanent, static, road traffic signs and delineators exposed vertically in service. HIP satisfies or surpasses the requirements of BS EN 12899-1:2007 for class RA2 reflective sheeting, and is guaranteed to perform brilliantly for up to 12 years.
HIP is superior in every department when compared with standard glass beaded materials, including reflectivity, colour contrast, legibility, brightness and durability.
As a highly ethical, socially conscious company, we have ensured that the production techniques used for HIP are much kinder on the environment than other reflective sheeting manufacturing methods. Since creating HIP, we have reduced Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions by 97%, energy consumption by 77% and solid waste by 46% compared to standard glass beaded sheeting manufacturing.
