Thanks to a revolutionary reformulation, 3M™ Safety-Walk™ tapes and treads are now more slip resistant than ever and give a better grip on surfaces such as stairs and ramps, hot tubs and shower trays. They are also more durable and flexible, so they perform better in cold weather.

The new formulation is also having a positive impact on the environment by eliminating the use of tonnes of solvent in the manufacturing process – 27 tonnes in 2014 to be precise which reduced the global warming potential of general purpose Safety-Walk by more than 50 metrics tonnes of CO2.

Three products – 610 Black General Purpose, 710 Black Coarse and 770 Grey Coarse traction tapes and treads - have also been certified phthalate free.
