The stunning installation combines a complex woven aluminium structure with luminous petals to form gradients of shimmering colour thanks to the use of 3M Mirror Film.
Ventricle was created by SOFTlab - a studio founded by architect Michael Szivos that specialises in combining the disciplines of architecture, design and art - using cutting-edge technology and traditional craft methods.
Part of the Southbank Centre’s Festival of Love, the installation is on display in the Level 2 foyer at the Royal Festival Hall until 30 September.
