The 3M™ Scotchlite™ silver reflective fabric 8925 on high-visibility clothing subject to higher stress, such as industrial and occupational garments, leisure wear and accessories, helps to enhance the visibility of the wearer at night or in low-light conditions. The material shines white when illuminated, even if the wearer is at the roadside. The reflective fabric is composed of exposed retroreflective glass beads bonded to a durable blended fabric (65% polyester/35% cotton) with a binder system. It meets ISO 20471 requirements but easily exceeds the minimum reflections values required at the highest performance level, thus greatly improving the visibility of people. Very good product quality is achieved for occupational clothing washed at home. The reflective fabric 8925 with a high degree of wear resistance and durability is easily washable at 60°C (75 cycles as per ISO 20471). Dry cleaning is also possible (50 cycles as per ISO 3175). The material itself can be used on delicate fabrics. When it comes to tough fabrics, the user can choose any care procedure. Another advantage: The material is available in various widths and can be printed on, embroidered on, embossed or used for piping or stamping parts.
