3M™ Nextel™ Fabric BF-30, woven from 440 Grade continuous filament ceramic 2000 denier yarn is designed to withstand continuous temperatures up to 2372°F (1300°C). Higher weight with moderate air permeability, BF-30 is ideal for high temperature industrial and aerospace applications, and is available both sized and heat cleaned. Standard width: 36 inches.
3M™ Nextel™ Style BF Woven Ceramic Fabrics are designed to meet the toughest thermal, mechanical and electrical performance requirements. These fabrics outperform the useful limits of other high temperature textiles such as aramids, carbon, quartz or glass. 3M™ Nextel™ woven fabrics are true ceramics. They are oxidation resistant, chemically inert, lightweight, electrically insulating, flexible, and fire, flame and heat resistant to temperatures of 2372°F (1300°C).
