3M™ Interam™ Mat Mount 5000NC is a flexible, intumescent, non-classified mat for low/medium operating temperature applications. It is designed for the mounting of passenger-car, exhaust, gas after-treatment systems like Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and other systems.
Containing solely non-classified ceramic fibers, 3M™ Interam™ Mat Mount 5000NC is a flexible intumescent mat meeting requirements of European and German workplace legislation when instructions for use are strictly followed. The appropriate amount of vermiculite provides adequate heat expansion characteristics at high temperatures. Innovative 3M technology enables very low binder content for safe low temperature diesel operation and low volatile organic components. Our total mount system offers wide operating temperature range (ambient to 850°C), high resiliency and high erosion resistance.
