3M™ Vibration Damping Tape 435 is a low temperature, silver, dead soft aluminium foil tape. The aluminium foil constraining layer is coated with a pressure sensitive viscoelastic polymer on an easy release liner. This tape absorbs and dissipates vibration, reducing noise and fatigue.

3M™ Metal Tape 435 is a 0.34 mm thick, silver, conformable soft aluminum tape. Designed to reduce noise and absorb and dissipate vibrations, mainly by reducing structure-borne noise in metal and composite panels and support structures, it can achieve effective attenuation with as little as 10% surface coverage. This tape is durable. It resists moisture, weather, UV damage and flames. It is a durable, chemical-resistant tape that performs well over a wide temperature range, especially at lower temperatures. It can be used at temperatures from -60 ° C to 20 ° C. function. Protective cover for the production of stamped parts. Recommended applications Reduce unwanted resonance noise, vibrations and fatigue in metal plates and supporting structures. Low temperature applications in aerospace and industry.
