3M™ Overlaminate Label Materials are designed for protective overlaminate applications. A durable facestock resists scuffs, abrasions and chemicals. Different adhesives are available for performance in a variety of temperatures, substrates, and environments – including oily metals.

For a high performance laminate, use 3M™ Overlaminate Label Materials 7742. It improves the durability of printed labels and graphics. Our matte polyester overlaminating facestock provides high abrasion, UV and chemical resistance, making it ideal for label and nameplate graphics on appliances such as industrial equipment and tools. It’s UL recognised (File MH11410) when applied to polyester label stocks, and the polycoated kraft liner helps maintain adhesive clarity. It's also CSA accepted (File 99316) for overlamination of both polyester and vinyl labelstocks. 3M™ Performance Label Stock Materials offer a wide range of products for long term durability and adhesion with automotive chemical resistance and outdoor durability. Some products are UL/CSA compliant materials that can be printed by flexographic or screen print processes, as well as thermal transfer, digital printing, inkjet, laser or dot matrix printing. Available with many facestocks such as polyester, polypropylene, vinyl, pharmaceutical papers or synthetics. Please refer to individual product datapage for specific product details. Typical 3M™ Performance Label applications include bar code tracking, track and trace, thermal transfer labels, variable information printing (VIP), brand and instruction labels, warning labels, durable decals, surface protection and masking, overlaminate, UV protection, tamper indicating, destructible labels, VOID message, fraud reduction, laminating, bonding and digital window graphics.
