3M™ Nextel™ Fabric DF-11, woven from 610 Grade continuous filament ceramic 1500 denier roving, is designed to withstand continuous temperatures up to 2200oF (1204oC). A structural fabric with high tensile properties, low weight and moderate air permeability, DF-11 is ideal for ceramic matrix composite applications, and is available both sized and heat cleaned. Standard width: 36 inches.

These high modulus fabrics are made from 3M's 610 ceramics fibers which feature a Filament Tensile Modulus of 380 GPa. They are 99% alumina, electrically nonconductive, electromagnetically transparent, and more thermally conductive than glass.
