3M™ Cold Shrink Cable Joint QS2000B 93-BP620-1/C is our kit containing 3M™ Cold Shrink QS2000B silicone splice body with integrated stress control device, conductive electrode, silicone elastomeric insulation, outer semi-conductive layer, copper screen sleeve, constant force springs for metallic screen, mechanical connector, and thick-walled EPDM rubber Cold Shrink outer tubes to re-build the cable outer jacket.
For branch splicing up to 24 kV Umax voltage class, single-core, polymeric power cable systems, use 3M™ Cold Shrink Cable Joint QS2000B 93-BP620-1/C. Our cable joint kit is designed for power cables with copper wire screen according to HD 620 (IEC 60502), up to 12/20(24) kV and is suitable for cable cross section 95-240 mm². It features a prefabricated one-piece Cold Shrink splice body which allows fast and easy installation on a wide range of cable types and sizes, at temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +50 °C. The mechanical connector provides quick and easy connection, without tooling; the copper sleeve and constant force springs offer a solderless earth connection; and the thick walled, EPDM rubber Cold Shrink outer re-jacketing tubes provide mechanical protection and moisture sealing of the completed branch joints. No heat/flame or tools are required for splice body installation. 3M™ Cold Shrink Cable Joint QS2000B 93-BP620-1/C meets and exceeds the requirements of European Standard CENELEC HD 629.1 and IEC 60502-4.
