3M™ Lapping Film 463X is a silicon carbide mineral coated on 3 mil polyester film. Available in 3.0 micron and is our standard product for silicon carbide related polishing applications in the fibre optic and metallurgical industries.

Applications include Fibre Optic Connector Polishing, Flat Lapping, Hard Disc Drive Lube Buff, Media Head Finishing, Superfinishing.
