Silicon carbide mineral coated on a 3 mil polyester film with PSA back. Available in 5.0, 9.0, 15.0 and 30.0 micron and is our standard product for silicon carbide related polishing applications in the fiber optic and metallurgical industries.

Use 3M™ Lapping Film 468X as the standard film for silicon carbide related polishing applications in the fibre optic and metallurgical industries. 3M lapping film comprises of silicon carbide mineral coated on a 3 mil polyester film, PSA backed with a durable resin system. The tight particles give a consistent cut rate and finish.
