3M™ Thermal Transfer Polyester Label Material 7874EC is a 50 micron, white polyester, labelstock with a matt print receptive topcoat, and is designed for thermal transfer printing. The TT3 topcoat offers excellent image durability in harsh environments. This product utilizes 3M™ Adhesive 350E, designed to provide excellent adhesion to high and low surface energy plastics, metals, painted metals and powder coatings.
For a durable polyester facestock that gives durability in harsh environments, use 3M™Thermal Transfer Polyester Label Material 7874EC. Our 350E adhesive offers excellent adhesion on low surface energy plastics, metals, painted metals and powder coatings, combined with excellent temperature and chemical resistance. The TT3 topcoat offers excellent image durability in harsh environments, combined with high abrasion resistance and excellent resistance of the thermal transfer image when exposed to more aggressive chemicals, such as brake fluid. The topcoat creates a durable image in many applications without need of a protective overlaminate.
