3M™ Thermal Bonding Film Y582A has initial tack at room temperature; therefore it can be applied and re-positioned easily. After applying the tape, it is crosslinked by pressure (over 3N/sqcm) and heat (over 130 °C). This crosslinking provides additional temperature- and solvent resistance as well as higher shear strength.

3M™ Thermal Bonding Film Y582A can be used for a variety of bonding applications with metals, glass and thermosetting resins.
