Use 3M™ Hookit™ Clean Sanding Low Profile Disc Pad to securely hold a 3M™ Hookit™ Clean Sanding Disc* on a random orbital sander. Our disc pads are ideal for efficient flat sanding and especially aggressive operations – when good levelling is needed, use pads with coarser grades. Our versatile disc pads are strong yet flexible, made from firm density foam with a 35° blunt tapered edge, giving them added durability. A one piece threaded shank reduces vibration and improves balance. Designed to eliminate the need for hole alignment, these disc pads feature our multi-hole pattern that works with a vacuum to help remove dust from the disc, workpiece and surrounding air. Our clean sanding dust management system is easier to use than standard dust free systems – evacuating dust more efficiently than 5 or 6 hole products. This reduction in dust increases the disc’s cutting efficiency and lifespan, while also improving work conditions. 3M Clean Sanding abrasives can be paired with clean sanding disc pads for use on a central-vacuum-ready sander. The Hookit system provides easy disc changes and improves longevity. These discs can be reused for their entire lifespan, reducing material consumption and increasing parts per disc. Hookit abrasive products – with hook-and-loop backing –feature loop material that mates to a backup pad*, where tiny hooks firmly engage the loops. Attachment is quick, easy and secure. Use sanding, finishing, and surface conditioning products with 3M Hookit attachment and removal system for an efficient way to work through multi-step finishing processes. *Sold separately
