3M™ Thermal Transfer Polyester Label Material 7872EJ is our 50 micron gloss silver platinum polyester labelstock with a 46 micron acrylic adhesive 350E on a 90 gsm double sided densified glassine liner. It’s UL and cUL recognised.

For thermal transfer printing, use 3M™ Thermal Transfer Polyester Label Materials 7872EJ. It’s a 50 micron labelstock for high and low surface energy plastics, metals, painted metals and powder coatings. Our 7872EJ labelstock is topcoated for improved ink anchorage with traditional forms of press printing, and the facestock has a 46 micron coat weight for adhesion to textured surfaces. The 350E labelstock adhesive works on low surface energy substrates, with temperature and chemical resistance in harsh environments. The 90 gsm double sided densified glassine liner ensures consistent die cutting and improves the ease of dispensing. Resin ribbons are recommended for optimum durability. This label material is UL and cUL recognised.
