Easier to position
The new, innovative tabs on the upper and lower panels of the
respirator, along with the new 'grip' feature on the valve,
enable easier opening of the respirator to simplify the
positioning and adjustment on the face.
More durable design
New braided headbands are strong and durable holding your respirator securely on your face and yet are comfortable upon your head.
Third generation design
1996 – 3M launched the first ever 3-panel disposable respirator, the 9300-Series.
2000s – 3M introduced a version with a “Shrouded valve”, designed to reduce cross contamination while offering the comfort benefits of an exhalation valve.
2011 – The second generation design; Aura™ 9300+ series with improved filter media and features designed to reduce eyewear fogging and improve compatibility with 3M eyewear.
2012 – A staple-free, blue version of Aura designed for the food market.
Now – Building further upon its predecessors, the third generation 9300+Gen3 series, with a new modern and stylish Cool Flow™ Comfort Valve, braided headbands and easy-to-use tabs.
