"A lot of my work is inspired from the Lost Generation of writers, like Hemingway and Steinbeck. I like images from the decades that are nostalgic, classic and romantic, like the ʼ40s and ʼ50s Americana. I also find a lot of inspiration in early jazz from New Orleans, anything that kind of takes me back to a golden time. There's always a time when an artwork comes to life; it's usually something small that you do that just gives it that extra something special."
