3M™ Protective Tape Application Solution is the same (water, solvent, surfactant) wetting solution that is already approved in maintenance manuals, technical orders, technical bulletins and other process documents for installing 3M™ Polyurethane Protective Tape and Boots.
This pre-mixed, water based application solution comes in ready-to-use spray bottles to save time and guesswork during mixing. It is pre-mixed in the preferred ratios for desired cleaning, ease of application and to provide excellent adhesion to polyurethane protective tapes and boots. The 3M™ Protective Tape Application Solution allows contoured films and preformed boots to be more easily installed.
