3M™ Conformable Bonding Tape BT3005 is a 0.5 mm thick, blue, single-face acrylic tape developed for use in automobile interiors. This automotive wire harness assembly tape is designed to bond to rough or highly irregular surfaces, or in sealing and other applications where a highly conformable tape is required.
A blue, double-sided acrylic foam sealing tape, 3M™ Conformable Bonding Tape BT3005 features excellent initial adhesion, heat resistance and durability compared to conventional butyl sealing tape. Typical applications include bonding of cellular urethane, polystyrene and polypropylene parts, securing wire harnesses to headliners and bonding impact relaxation pads to door panels. It uses the technology of 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape, which has been applied to vehicle interior and exterior part attachment for more than forty years.
