3M General Purpose Polyester Tape 8995 is designed to be a quality product for use in high volume applications where price is sensitive. Our tape is a transparent dark blue for easy identification and provides excellent conformability – even around curved edges.

Ideal for applications in the Printing, Composite Bonding and General Industrial industry such as: Splicing - particularly siliconised materials, Bag Sealing – in composite bonding and glass manufacture, Powder coat masking, and Flashbreaker – to remove adhesives overspill after bonding processes. This polyester tape utilises a silicone adhesive to reach high temperatures and a high performance polyester carrier that is conformable and yet does not go brittle when being removed after bake cycles. Key characteristics: - Get excellent conformability even around curved edges - Provides the strength for tearing through cured paint or adhesive coatings - Features a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive - Excellent conformability even around curved edges - Transparent dark blue for identification - Pressure sensitive silicone adhesive - Clean removal up to 200°C
