3M™ Heat-Activated Acrylic Plus Tape ST1200 is a 1.20 mm (0.047 inch) thick, black acrylic foam tape, constructed with two different adhesives, used to attach weatherstrip and/or gasket seals for automotive and industrial applications.

3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape ST1200 is engineered for applications requiring reliable adhesion to automotive paint surfaces as well as durable bonding to common sealing materials.The tape provides high adhesion and holding strength on automotive paint surfaces, supporting secure and long-lasting attachment of seal components. Its conformable acrylic foam core delivers excellent wet-out and stress-handling characteristics, helping to maintain seal integrity even when components are exposed to movement, dimensional changes, or mechanical stress. The black, high-strength core also contributes to an improved bond-line appearance and overall quality of the finished application. On the non-liner side, 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape ST1200 features a heat-activated adhesive that forms an immediate, consistent, and durable bond to most EPDM formulations and TPE materials.
