3M™ Silicon Nitride Ball Bearing Components are engineered specifically for hybrid ball bearing applications. They are made from gas pressure sintered silicon nitride with a pore-free microstructure, which provides high strength, fracture toughness and contact fatigue resistance properties that meet or exceed ASTM standards. 3M™ Silicon Nitride has proven to be a highly effective material for use in hybrid ball bearings, and can help extend equipment life compared to steel components.
