- Same materials and physical characteristics as 3M™ Polycarbonate Carrier 3000; black, splice free, polycarbonate carrier with a typical surface resistivity at 10E5 ohms/sq., and precisely formed pockets to ensure component fit per ANSI/EIA guidelines
- Good impact strength and resistance for improved component protection
- Lower shrinkage percentage than such materials as polyester providing stable pocket dimension after formation
- Low pocket dimensional tolerance at +/- 0.05 mm with a small sidewall draft angle <3° and a flat pocket bottom to address the traditional curved pocket issues of chip movement up the wall and the Z-axis movement that causes problem at the pick-up point
- 3M carrier 3000BD is cleaned and packaged in a Class 10,000 cleanroom environment
- Recommended for WLCSP, bare die and other applications that requires cleanliness and high precision
- Broad selection of pocket designs and dimensions to accommodate various electrical and electronic components
- Customized designs and dimensions are also available per your requirements
- Compatible with 3M™ Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Cover Tapes, 3M™ Universal Cover Tape and 3M™ Heat Activated Adhesive Cover Tapes with good sealing and peeling performance
- Available in widths of 8 mm - 44 mm in planetary format
- Long level-winding reels are available for most 8 mm - 12 mm
