3M™ Twin Axial PCI Express Extender Assemblies Gen 5.0 8KDx Series bring speeds up to 32 GT/s per lane and bandwidth up to 64GB/s for a x16 to the latest system designs. Ideal for PCIe (85 ohm) 5.0 applications, these 3M extenders feature flexible, foldable thin twin axial ribbon cables that can be folded back on themselves at extremely tight bend radii. This makes for extremely versatile routing – you can fold the cable into compact custom configurations, and replace retimer chips or high loss PCB materials with twin axial cable. Precision-formed, continuously laminated shields over entire flat cables maintain high-bandwidth, resonance-free signal integrity at Gen 5.0 speed.

You can do so much more with your PCIe 5.0 systems. 3M PCIe extender assemblies will be available in x8, x16, straddlemount and surfacemount versions. You can place PCIe peripheral cards in virtually any orientation within a system chassis. You can offload signals from high-speed architectures, re-locate PCIe card slots, bridge between slots on two different PCBs and more.
