Each kit contains all the necessary components to install one 3M separable connector, including all connection devices. Separate 3M Surge Arrester kit TDA 72.5 / 196kV is also available.

The kits are easy to install and maintain; helping wind farm operators reduce downtime and operational costs. 3M™ High Voltage Separable Connector Kits consist of a T-shaped terminal made of EPDM rubber material and an electrical stress control adapter. Each kit includes a connector body composed of three parts: an inner semi-conductive layer, an insulating layer, and an outer shielding layer. The adapter is made of an insulating layer and a stress cone. This kit is for electrical cable and equipment insulation connections rated at 72.5kV.
