3M™ DBI SALA® Ultra Lok™ RSQ Self Retracting Lifeline's (SRL's) are rugged, highly engineered devices that can be counted on for user safety, efficiency and reliability. An SRL’s lifeline will extend as the user moves away, and retract automatically enabling the user to move about within a recommended working area at normal speeds. Should a fall occur, a speed sensing brake system will activate stopping the fall and reducing the forces imposed on the user to safe levels. The innovative Ultra Lok RSQ model features dual modes; standard fall arrest mode and 2 descent modes; automatic descent for self rescue and remote/assisted descent rescue by pole or hand. This dual mode model lowers the cost of ownership by reducing the need for separate rescue equipment and ensures you always have a rescue plan. The SRL extends and retracts automatically, allowing the user to move efficiently and comfortably at normal speeds around the recommended work area. The Ultra Lok RSQ is light in weight thanks to its glass filled polyurethane housing. For operational longevity, all models use corrosion resistant stainless steel working components. 15 m in length and available with either galvanised steel or stainless steel cable. At the end of the cable is a double action snap hook for attachment to a harnesses fall arrest point. This double action snap hook has a built in swivel and fall arrest indicator. The reserve lifeline system built in to this SRL allows the brake and energy absorption system to function properly even if a fall occurs when the cable is fully extended. For added security, the UltraLok RSQ features an anti ratcheting twin disc brake system, with an audible indication that the device is functioning correctly.
