3M™ Vibration Damping Tape 435 is a low temperature, silver, dead soft aluminium foil tape. The aluminium foil constraining layer is coated with a pressure sensitive viscoelastic polymer on an easy release liner. This tape absorbs and dissipates vibration, reducing noise and fatigue.
Get 3M™ Vibration Damping Tape 435 for many applications in the automotive, construction, appliance and MRO industries. Use our tape to absorb and dissipate vibration, noise, and metal fatigue. Aerospace use it for die-cutting aluminium foil parts. It’s a low temperature, dead soft, silver, aluminium foil tape. The constraining layer is coated with a pressure sensitive backing, type 830 viscoelastic polymer on a blue polyethylene easy release liner. The acrylic polymer adhesive is optimised to convert vibrational energy to negligible heat that readily dissipates. It’s versatile, resisting chemicals, cold temperature and UV degradation. The cold temperature resistance allows our tape to perform at extremely low temperatures.
