3M™ Scotchlok™ Insulation Displacement Connector 560/560B is a double run or tap connector for tap or parallel splicing.

More than 45 years ago, 3M introduced the industry's original insulation displacement connector - the 3M™ Scotchlok™ Connector UR. The latest series of 3M™ Scotchlok™ Insulation Displacement Connectors (IDCs) has kept all that was good about the original connector - the design, the shape, the element technology and the color-coding. Our unique "U" contact provides a dependable electrical connection. A "live-spring" joint is made by driving the "U" contact down into the connector. As the “U” contact is pressed into connector, it grasps conductors as it displaces insulation. Contact grips conductor and holds with a firm, resilient pressure. 3M™ Scotchlok™ wire connectors offer quick, reliable connection with a simple snap and a squeeze, no stripping or twisting.
