3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin 1402FR, Size B, 200 m

3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin Pack 1402FR-B is our halogen free, flame-retardant, two-component polyurethane resin for room temperature curing. When installed it has a continuous operating temperature of -40 to +110 °C.

For electrical insulation and mechanical protection of low and medium voltage electrical joints use 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin Pack 1402FR-B. Once our halogen free, flame-retardant and chemical resistant resin has cured, it provides impact resistance and durability against moisture, hydrocarbons and atmospheric corrosion. It’s suitable for indoor and outdoor, underground and submerged environments. It has good adhesion to metals and different plastics, hydrophobic behaviour during curing, excellent hydrolytic stability, low exothermic reaction temperature, and available with closed mixing and pouring (CMP) system. The shelf life is 36 months when stored between 10-40 °C, with humidity level < 75 % and in the originally sealed bag. The resin pack comes in a two-part, closed mixing pouch within a single 200 ml (305 g) bag. Single box. 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin Pack 1402FR-B is classified as MIW (medium voltage insulation water curable) according to CENELEC HD 631.1 S2 Standard, and is compliant with EU directives 2002/95/EC (RoHS) and 1907/2007/EC (REACH).
