3M has announced that it has entered into agreements to sell its tolling and automated number plate recognition (ANPR) business, part of 3M’s Traffic Safety and Security Division, to Neology, Inc

    • Neology, Inc is a leading provider of integrated solutions for tolling, electronic vehicle registration and public safety applications.

The sale is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2017, subject to customary closing conditions, regulatory approvals and consultation or information requirements with relevant works councils.

3M believes this business will be well positioned to meet customers’ evolving needs as a part of Neology.

For now, there are no changes to how customers order or purchase 3M tolling and ANPR products and services. After the transaction closes, 3M is committed to working with Neology to help facilitate a smooth transition for customers.
