Metal-free nanotechnology in the 3M™ Window Film Prestige Exterior Series selectively reflects light, rejecting up to 97 per cent of the sun’s heat-producing infrared light and up to 99 per cent of UV rays. The result helps the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame reduce energy costs by 8 to 12 per cent annually, as well as preserve the integrity of natural ambient lighting. The Prestige Exterior Series was applied to the museum’s exterior, which is made almost entirely of glass. By applying this technology, the museum’s HVAC runs under a reduced load and museum exhibit views remain true to life.
