Installing the lower prongs of the wall hook on a lightly marked level, horizontal line will ensure the hook is installed in a straight line.
Mark a continuous, level horizontal line with a pencil where hooks will be installed. Push the lower prongs of the hooks along the line. Erase any remaining pencil marks. To see how to align multiple hooks watch this video.
Yes, a hammer can be used to complete the installation of the metal hook. A hammer is not recommended to install the cover piece.
To remove the 3M CLAW™ Hook, snap off the cover and then slide a flathead screwdriver between the plasterboard hook and the wall, gently pulling it away.
