The 3M™ Scotchlite™ silver reflective fabric 9910 helps to enhance the visibility of the wearer at night or in low-light conditions especially on high-visibility, industrial and occupational garments that undergo industrial laundering. The material shines white when illuminated, even if the wearer is at the roadside. It is composed of exposed retroreflective glass beads bonded to a sturdy 100% polyester fabric with a special binder system. 3M's reflective fabric meets ISO 20471 requirements but easily exceeds the minimum reflections values required at the highest performance level, thus greatly improving the visibility of people. Very good product quality is achieved for occupational clothing washed at home. The reflective fabric 9910 with a high degree of wear resistance and durability is very easily washable at home up to 60°C (100 cycles as per ISO 20471). Even when industrially laundered and dried in a drum dryer, the material exhibits very good wash and chemical resistance and good abrasion resistance. Even after 30 washing cycles following the maintenance instructions, it exceeds the minimum reflection values in ISO 20471. Because of this it is especially suitable for garments that undergo industrial washing and are dried in a drum dryer, such as rental garments. Dry cleaning is also possible (50 cycles as per ISO 3175). The material itself can be used on delicate fabrics. When it comes to tough fabrics, the user can choose any care procedure. Another advantage: The material is available in various widths and can be printed on, embroidered on, embossed or used for piping or stamping parts. This means that individual designs can be implemented easily. In addition, the retroreflective properties of the material are independent of the grain on the garment and achieve a good impact even when wet.
